The study highlighted Zurich, Switzerland’s bustling capital, as the priciest city globally.

Ajans Press further delved into the financial dynamics of urban centers by evaluating average incomes and purchasing capabilities across these metropolises. Their collaboration with PRNet revealed a considerable media focus, with 1,634 articles discussing living costs in 2017, a number that had already increased to 1,924 by 2018.

In this report, Zurich emerged as the leader in living costs, followed closely by Geneva, Oslo, and Copenhagen. Conversely, Cairo, Egypt’s capital, was identified as the most affordable city, occupying the last position on the list.

It was noted that Zurich’s monthly expenditure on goods and services amounted to 4,206 dollars, whereas Cairo required a modest 1,272 dollars. Istanbul was ranked 48th for food costs, 42nd for electronics, and 53rd for public transport.
