Welcome to Gökçeada, also known by its ancient name, Imroz. As Turkey’s largest island, it serves as the westernmost point of the country. In 2011, Gökçeada proudly became the world’s first “Cittaslow” island, a testament to its commitment to preserving a slower pace of life, rich culture, and unspoiled nature.
