With the approval of the Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Authority (SEDDK), several senior executives have been promoted to new positions. Osman Yılmaz, formerly the Secretary General, has been appointed Deputy General Manager of Claims and Legal Affairs, bringing his extensive expertise in public administration and strategic planning to the forefront. Çağatay Çınar, who previously headed the health insurance department, now takes on the role of Deputy General Manager of Health Insurance. Meanwhile, Hande Savlı Balkaya, an experienced leader in strategic HR and organizational development, has advanced to become Deputy General Manager of Human Resources.
The restructuring merges claims and legal operations under a single division to ensure integrated decision-making and more efficient customer service. Under this enhanced structure:
• Mesrur Özkaya returns to the company as Head of Auto Claims, leveraging his previous experience in actuarial and technical pricing to strengthen Sompo’s auto insurance segment.
• Osman Yılmaz now leads the combined Claims and Legal Affairs functions, ensuring an agile and well-coordinated approach to operational processes.
• Çağatay Çınar will continue driving the growth of the company’s expanding Health Insurance portfolio with renewed strategic leadership.
• Hande Savlı Balkaya will oversee Human Resources transformation, focusing on talent development and cultural integration across the company.
