Maher Holding Shares Initial Results of KASKONOMIQ and KASKONOMIC Products

Maher Holding Insurance Group announced the initial results of Quick Sigorta’s KASKONOMIQ and Corpus Sigorta’s KASKONOMIC products. According to the data, new policyholders represented approximately 91 per cent of the KASKONOMIQ portfolio, while renewals accounted for 9 per cent.

Within the total portfolio, 55 per cent consisted of vehicle owners who had never previously purchased comprehensive motor insurance. Another 36 per cent came from policyholders who had held comprehensive cover in the past but later left the system.

Maher Holding Insurance Group stated that the products are designed not only to gain share in the existing comprehensive motor insurance market but also to bring uninsured vehicle owners into the system.

Maher Holding Targets Growth in Comprehensive Motor Insurance

Ahmet Yaşar, Chairman of Maher Holding Insurance Group, said there is significant growth potential in Turkey’s comprehensive motor insurance sector. He stated that the company does not view the sector only as a market in which already insured vehicles move between companies, but as an area with strong potential to cover millions of uninsured vehicles.

Yaşar stated that 55 per cent of the portfolio was made up of vehicle owners who had never purchased comprehensive insurance before, while 36 per cent consisted of those who had previously cancelled their policies. He said that thousands of vehicles were brought into the comprehensive insurance system.

KASKONOMIQ Offers Cover Without Vehicle Age Limit

KASKONOMIQ is offered without a vehicle age limit. The product includes 15 per cent and 25 per cent excess options and provides cover for risks including impact, collision, theft, fire, earthquake, flood and terrorism.

Yaşar said that increasing comprehensive motor insurance penetration requires different product options for different vehicle owners. He stated that with KASKONOMIQ and KASKONOMIC, policyholders keep part of the risk while transferring major financial risks to the insurer.

Unlimited Comprehensive Cover Supports Product Strategy

Maher Holding Insurance Group also offers Quick Sigorta’s Unlimited Comprehensive Cover product for policyholders seeking broader protection and services. The product includes unlimited optional third-party liability cover, unlimited replacement vehicle use, benefits for original spare parts and repairs, tyre storage, seasonal tyre changes and roadside assistance services.

Yaşar stated that the group’s aim is to make comprehensive motor insurance accessible to more vehicle owners, increase awareness of comprehensive motor insurance and expand the market.
