ISTANBUL, Türkiye — Türkiye Sigorta Birliği (TSB) announced that Sigorta Haftası will be held across Türkiye from 5 to 11 October 2026, bringing together public institutions, insurers, agencies, brokers, professional organisations and sector associations.
The 15th edition of Sigorta Haftası will be organised under the theme “Dört Element. Tek Güvence.” Events will focus on climate risks, natural disasters, urban resilience, mobility and the role of insurance in protecting individuals, businesses and production.
Events planned in Ankara, Istanbul, Malatya and Gaziantep
The programme will begin on 5 October with InsureTalks-Sigorta Zirvesi in Ankara. Istanbul will host the TARSİM Sigorta Şirketleri Bilgilendirme Toplantısı and the Smart-i Awards 2026 ceremony on the same day.
On 6 October, planned events in Istanbul include AXA Türkiye’s climate report launch, QuickSigorta’s OVP resilience panel, a Sigorta Brokerleri Derneği book launch and an exhibition at Quick Art Space.
Activities on 7 October will include Türkiye Sigorta’s Her Sınıf Bir Tohum project meeting in Malatya, as well as the Sigorta Tatbikatçıları Derneği 18. Uluslararası Sigortacılık Konferansı and AXA Sigorta Mobilite Vizyonu 2040 Zirvesi in Istanbul.
The 5. Uluslararası Sigorta Zirvesi is scheduled for 8 October at the Istanbul Finans Merkezi Ziraat Bankası Oditoryumu under TSB’s hosting. The week is planned to conclude with the Türk Dünyası Sigorta Birliği 2. Genel Kurulu in Gaziantep on 10 October.
TSB highlights insurance awareness
TSB Başkanı Ahmet Yaşar said the programme is intended to strengthen insurance awareness and communicate the role of insurance in managing changing risks and supporting continuity after losses.
