MAPFRE Insurance and Eczacıbaşı Evital Forge Digital Healthcare Partnership to Elevate Customer Experience

MAPFRE Insurance has announced a significant collaboration with Eczacıbaşı Evital, marking a major step towards transforming the digital health experience for its customers. This alliance aims to strengthen the infrastructure of the “Ask a Doctor” platform and enhance accessibility to online medical services.

Through this partnership, users will gain access to enhanced features that bridge traditional healthcare with digital convenience. The new system now allows patients to upload medical documents obtained via e-Nabız and enables doctors to issue e-prescriptions during online consultations, ensuring smoother communication and better continuity of care.

Enhanced Digital Platform and Expanded Medical Services

With a focus on improved user satisfaction, MAPFRE’s updated platform introduces a stronger technical framework, a broader physician network, and extended consultation durations. Currently, the number of available physicians has increased from 28 in 15 specialties to 39 professionals, offering users wider access to expert healthcare. Psychologist sessions now last 40 minutes instead of 20, and specialists in child and adolescent psychology have been added to the service network.

To ensure a more efficient appointment process, the system will now send SMS reminders upon booking and a day before scheduled sessions. Notifications for cancellations or time changes will also be automatically shared, helping users maintain full control of their appointments.

Commitment to Digital Transformation and Customer Value

Mahmut Emre Bayram, Deputy Technical General Manager of Individual Insurance at MAPFRE, emphasized that their digitalization journey goes beyond technology adoption. According to Bayram, “Our mission is to combine innovation with a human-centered approach, offering sustainable and accessible health solutions that truly improve our customers’ lives.” He affirmed that the partnership with Eczacıbaşı Evital represents a milestone toward creating a robust digital health ecosystem powered by reliability and inclusivity.

Berk Boyacıgil, General Manager of Eczacıbaşı Evital, described the synergy between the two organizations as a forward-looking initiative for expanding digital health accessibility. He noted, “Health today is not only about treatment but about overall well-being—physical, emotional, and mental. With our licensed digital health platform and our network of certified professionals, we are driving this transformation.”

This collaboration allows MAPFRE policyholders to connect seamlessly with online health experts and access reliable support from home. The partnership also underlines Evital’s role as a trusted technological partner within the insurance sector, committed to delivering a sustainable digital healthcare infrastructure for a better and healthier future.
