Allianz Turkey Pioneers Innovation with HackZone Initiative
In a bold move to spearhead innovation within the insurance sector, Allianz Turkey has been setting new benchmarks with its HackZone open innovation program since 2020. Through a strategic partnership with Tenity, this program has evaluated over 590 start-ups, with 46 groundbreaking ventures gaining entry into the initiative. By fostering collaboration with 34 of these promising start-ups, Allianz Turkey has accelerated project development and facilitated investment inflows exceeding $15.5 million from the ecosystem.
Spotlight on 2023 HackZone Themes and Participants
The 2023 HackZone program spotlighted pioneering start-ups such as Alon Health, Branchsight, Ingosa, Prowth, Text2Test, and Werover. These companies crafted insurance innovations around pivotal themes like artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), climate crisis mitigation, and digital health. During the HackZone by Allianz Demo Day, entrepreneurs showcased their projects to investors and Allianz Turkey’s senior executives.

The HackZone initiative served as a gateway for 26 start-ups to engage with the insurance sector for the first time, introducing innovative solutions in a complex and tightly regulated industry. The program’s mission extends beyond technological development, aiming to enhance customer experience, streamline operations, and drive digital transformation.
