Millî Reasürans, supporting the Turkish insurance sector since 1929, is marking its 97th anniversary with a renewed corporate identity, new website, updated mission and vision, digital transformation investments and a strong financial structure.
The company is advancing its corporate transformation by combining its long-standing experience with future-focused needs, aiming to shape the local market and become a preferred strategic business partner globally.
Digital transformation and sustainability are central to this process. Millî Reasürans is improving efficiency through process simplification, automation, big data analytics, AI-supported risk modelling and pricing, and information security investments.
In sustainability, the company published its second report in line with Turkish Sustainability Reporting Standards and became the first reinsurance company in Turkey to announce a measurable climate target under TSRS. It aims to increase the share of renewable energy in its voluntary acceptance portfolio by 1.5 per cent by 2026, compared with 2025.
General Manager Fikret Utku Özdemir stated that the company is preparing confidently for its second century by carrying its capital strength, technical expertise and institutional experience into the future while continuing investments in digitalisation, data analytics, artificial intelligence and sustainability, and expanding international operations.
