Ersin Pak, Finance Director and Executive Board Member at Allianz Turkey, will become CEO of Allianz Greece on 1 September 2026, subject to regulatory approval, succeeding Vasilis Christidis.
The appointment is part of a planned management transition linked to the strategic partnership between Allianz and the National Bank of Greece, including a minority stake plan and a long-term bancassurance agreement focused on life, health, and non-life insurance.
Pak has more than 20 years of insurance experience and has worked at Allianz Turkey for over 25 years. He has led work in pensions, life, non-life, acquisition, integration, and corporate transformation.
Born in Bursa in 1977, Pak graduated in Industrial Engineering from Istanbul Technical University and began his career in 2001 at Koç Allianz.
Vasilis Christidis, CEO of Allianz Greece since 2024, will support the transition and then move to Allianz Italy as Head of Commercial Transformation from 1 September 2026.
