BOXX Insurance, a leader in cyber insurance and protection, has restructured its organizational framework by appointing Jonathan Weekes as the new President for its Canadian operations. Joining Weekes is Neal Jardine, taking on the role of Global Cyber Intelligence and Claims Officer, while Phil Baker transitions fully to the global Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) position.
Jonathan Weekes brings a wealth of experience from the cyber insurance and technology sectors. Previously, Weekes held significant leadership roles at Aon, AIG, and Marsh, with his most recent position being Senior Vice President, Cyber Practice Leader at HUB. At BOXX, Weekes will spearhead the company’s expansion throughout Canada, concentrating on the growth of the Cyberboxx® product line and reinforcing its standing as a top provider of comprehensive cyber insurance solutions and protection services for brokers, MGAs, and affinities. We are thrilled to welcome Jonathan to lead our Canadian operations, and equally excited that Phil will now focus entirely on our international growth as CUO,

Neal Jardine, who has been with BOXX since 2022, will now serve as Global Cyber Intelligence and Claims Officer. During his tenure, Jardine has played a pivotal role in developing BOXX’s trailblazing PREDICT PREVENT and INSURE strategy, leveraging real-time technology to keep clients ahead of digital threats while being equipped to handle cyber incidents effectively.
Phil Baker, previously President of BOXX Canada and CUO, will now focus entirely on the global CUO role, overseeing BOXX’s cyber underwriting strategy across all markets. I am eager to collaborate with our global Presidents and executives to broaden BOXX’s international presence.
