The figures announced by the Turkish Insurance Association (TSB) for December 2025 revealed Ankara Anonim Türk Sigorta Şirketi’s premium production and market share. The insurer achieved an above-average growth rate across the sector and claimed the leading position in the Legal Protection branch.

78 Percent Total Increase

Based on the released statistics, Ankara Insurance produced 21 billion 194 million TL in premiums in 2025. The company raised its previous year’s volume of 11 billion 881 million TL by 78.37% in nominal terms, corresponding to a real growth rate of 36.28%. With this solid performance, its market share climbed from 1.42% in 2024 to 1.73%. In the overall ranking, Ankara Insurance reached the top 20 list, holding the 20th position in the industry.

Leadership in Legal Protection Branch

When examined by branches, the most prominent outcome was seen in the Legal Protection field. Ankara Insurance reached the top by producing 2 billion 140 million TL in premiums. The company, which generated 812 million TL in 2024 in the same category, delivered a nominal growth of 163.45% and a real increase of 101.28% during 2025. With a market share of 19.38%, Ankara Insurance became the leader of the Legal Protection segment.

Ranked Among the Top 20 in Non-Life Insurance

Its performance in the Non-Life category followed a similar trend. The company secured the 17th spot with a 2.03% market share. Nominal growth in this segment reached 78.37%, while the real increase was 36.28%.

Performance in Other Segments

According to the reported sub-branch breakdown, the company’s other results were as follows:

General Liability: Generated 15 million 262 thousand TL in premiums, ranking 33rd with a market share of 0.07%.

Engineering Insurance: Produced 13 million 387 thousand TL, securing the 33rd place with a 0.02% market share.

To conclude, Ankara Insurance ended 2025 with solid gains in both premium volume and market share, standing out in the Legal Protection area where it held over 19% of the market, confirming its leadership in the sector.
