Anadolu Sigorta orchestrated a significant gathering from 20-25 May, uniting its agents and bank managers under the banner of the “Agents and Türkiye İş Bankası Managers Meeting”. This year’s event, themed “Summit of 100 Years”, provided a platform for company leaders to share the vision, aspirations, and strategic priorities as the company steps into its second century. Key topics like robust financial performance, technological advancement, sustainability, and gender equality were spotlighted during the event.
The esteemed “Agents and Türkiye İş Bankası Managers Meeting”, a traditional highlight for Anadolu Sigorta, took place at Antalya’s luxurious Regnum Carya Hotel. Across the span from 20-23 May, agents converged to evaluate century-long achievements and new century goals, while the managers of Türkiye İş Bankası joined from 23-25 May. These sessions were enriched with a blend of workshops, interactive discussions, and social gatherings, fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas.
Füsun Tümsavaş, Chairperson of the Board of Directors, addressed the gala nights, while attendees were entertained by Ceren Özdemir’s captivating percussion show themed “White Nights” and a performance by the celebrated artist Özcan Deniz.
During the Agents Meeting, key presentations were delivered by Anadolu Sigorta’s General Manager Z. Mehmet Tuğtan, Assistant General Manager Deren Koçdemir, and Corporate Communications and Sustainability Coordinator Berna Semiz Ergüntan. Tuğtan highlighted the company’s milestones and achievements, while Koçdemir discussed current campaigns and the customer-centric results achieved by Anadolu Sigorta. Ergüntan presented the company’s sustainability vision, emphasizing that insurance fundamentally supports sustainability. He elaborated on Anadolu Sigorta’s efforts since 2021 in promoting gender equality, asserting that advocating for equality is not only a societal duty but also essential for insuring the future.
At the assembly with Türkiye İş Bankası managers, speeches were given by Z. Mehmet Tuğtan, Anadolu Sigorta’s General Manager; Sezgin Lüle, Assistant General Manager of Türkiye İş Bankası; Deren Koçdemir, Anadolu Sigorta’s Assistant General Manager; Rıdvan Atasoy, Bancassurance Manager of Anadolu Sigorta; and Vahide Uyar, Retail Banking Product Department Manager of Türkiye İş Bankası.
In his address to agents and bank managers, General Manager Z. Mehmet Tuğtan conveyed pride in Anadolu Sigorta’s century of accomplishments and enthusiasm for the future. “Established on 8 March 1925 with the foresight of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, our company continues to flourish at 100, enriching every aspect it touches,” he remarked.
Tuğtan credited Anadolu Sigorta’s leadership successes to the unwavering support of its agencies and İşbank branches. “By 2024, we achieved a total production of TL 70 billion, marking a 57.3 percent premium increase. With a market share of 9.4 percent, we stand among the top three in 10 out of 15 major branches. We’ve essentially added another Anadolu Sigorta on top of the original. We extend our gratitude to our agencies and Türkiye İş Bankası branches for their invaluable contribution. As a cornerstone of the Republic’s history, Anadolu Sigorta has consistently fulfilled its promise to society. We pledge to construct the future with strength derived from our deep-rooted legacy,” Tuğtan concluded.
