The Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Authority (SEDDK) has released the 2026 Tariffs and Guidelines for State-Supported Agricultural Insurance, introducing broader coverage areas and refined rules for compensation and premium calculations across different agricultural sectors.
The 2026 Tariffs and Guidelines under the Agricultural Insurance Law have officially taken effect. The latest regulations establish distinct tariffs and instructions for various branches, including crop insurance, income protection, village-based yield, greenhouse, beekeeping, silkworm breeding, aquaculture, cattle, sheep and goat life insurance, and poultry life insurance. In each category, the compensation is calculated based on the insurance amount stated in the policy, while deductibles and co-insurance rates differ according to the insurance type.
With the 2026 framework, state-supported agricultural insurance seeks to provide a more reliable assurance system against climate-related risks and production fluctuations.
