The IRBA Board meets with SEDDK President Davut Menteş to discuss collaboration and developments in the insurance and reinsurance sector.
Members of the Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers Association Board of Directors visited Davut Menteş, President of the Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Authority (SEDDK), and his team.
During the meeting, current business processes, regulatory developments, and challenges faced by brokers in the sector were discussed. The participants exchanged views on practical solutions and evaluations that could contribute to the sustainable growth of the insurance and reinsurance industry.
The role of brokers in risk management and reinsurance operations was emphasized, underlining their importance in ensuring the sector’s stable and effective functioning. Both parties highlighted that open communication and collaboration between regulatory bodies and brokers would strengthen efficiency and sectoral integrity.
The meeting also focused on enhancing cooperation between public institutions and the private sector to support a transparent and sustainable insurance market. Maintaining constructive dialogue was noted as a key element in developing the sector further.
