Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Co. (BHSI) has announced the promotion of Louise Kidd to the role of Head of Underwriting in Europe. Based in Dublin, Ms. Kidd has previously held the positions of Country Manager for Ireland and Global Financial Lines Underwriting Officer. Since joining BHSI in 2020, she has served as the Head of Third-Party Lines in Ireland.
In recognition of her outstanding contributions and leadership in the industry, Ms. Kidd was recently named one of the 2024 Business Insurance Women to Watch, highlighting her significant impact and influence in the insurance sector.
