In a significant move to bolster its commercial division, Allianz UK has appointed Adam Lloyd as the new Chief Underwriting Officer and Claire Buck as the Chief Technical Officer, a position that has been newly established. Both appointments will take effect from April 14.
These appointments underscore Allianz’s dedication to nurturing internal talent and promoting global mobility, as both Lloyd and Buck are seasoned professionals from within the organization. They will be reporting to Phuong Ly, the newly appointed Managing Director for Allianz Commercial in the UK, who is set to commence her role on April 1.
Adam Lloyd brings over 15 years of experience from Allianz Australia, with a strong background in underwriting and sales. Meanwhile, Claire Buck has been with Allianz UK for nearly two decades, showcasing her deep-rooted expertise and leadership within the company.
