The Turkish Insurance Association (TSB) reported the insurance sector’s premium production results for January-December 2025. As stated in the official data, Türkiye Hayat ve Emeklilik AŞ ended the year as the top company in production volume and market share within the ‘Life’ category.
Based on the figures released by TSB, the company achieved a total premium production of 29 billion 341 million 157 thousand TL in life insurance throughout 2025. This result positioned the firm as the leader among the life insurance companies in the market.
Premium Production Grew by 105 Percent
When comparing the company’s performance with the previous year, a notable increase was recorded. In 2024, premium production had reached 14 billion 282 million TL, and by the end of 2025, this figure reflected a growth rate of 105.43 percent in nominal terms. The real change adjusted for inflation was calculated at 56.95 percent.
Market Share Rose to 16.40 Percent
Alongside the growth in production, Türkiye Hayat ve Emeklilik AŞ also strengthened its market dominance. The firm’s share in the life insurance segment, which stood at 14.30 percent in December 2024, reached 16.40 percent by the conclusion of 2025. Maintaining its leadership, the company remained approximately three points ahead of its nearest competitor.
Placed 12th in Overall Sector Ranking
In the overall industry ranking, including all life and non-life branches, the company secured the 12th position within the sector due to its strong life insurance performance. Including its limited production in non-life segments, the total premium amount reached 29 billion 345 million TL.
