Lloyd’s Lab Welcomes 11 Innovative InsurTechs to Cohort 14
The prestigious insurance and reinsurance marketplace, Lloyd’s, has unveiled the 11 InsurTech companies that have successfully earned a spot in the 14th Cohort of the Lloyd’s Lab Accelerator programme. The selected teams include Faura, Satva Trust, QualRisk, Ocean Ledger, Novella, Testudo, Circuit Security, GWT Insight, Unwind Finance, 7Analytics AS, and the well-known reinsurance technology platform Supercede Technology, a familiar name to readers of Reinsurance News.
These innovative participants were chosen after a highly competitive Pitch Day, where Lloyd’s CEO John Neal underscored the crucial role of insurance in confronting emerging risks and fortifying resilient societies worldwide.
For Cohort 14, Lloyd’s introduces a novel theme: Shaping the Future of Reinsurance in Bermuda. This theme was developed in collaboration with the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) to bolster the partnership between the insurance and reinsurance hubs of Lloyd’s and Bermuda.
The new cohort also advances two ongoing themes. The first, Data, Models & Processes, is aimed at enhancing underwriting efficiency through sophisticated analytics. The second, New Products, focuses on devising solutions to address underinsurance and improve coverage.
