Zurich Insurance closes 2025 with 51.8% growth and 18.6 billion TL in premiums, showcasing strong performance and market leadership.
According to the Turkish Insurance Association (TSB) data for December 2025, Zurich Insurance Inc. further solidified its position in the sector by expanding its yearly premium output. The company reached a total premium production of 18 billion 674 million 859 thousand TL throughout 2025.
Overall Market Share and Growth In comparison, Zurich Insurance had produced 12 billion 301 million TL in 2024, meaning a nominal increase of 51.81% for 2025. Adjusted for inflation, the real growth rate was 15.98%. Accordingly, the company’s overall market share rose from 1.47% to 1.53%, placing Zurich Insurance 24th in the sector’s general ranking.
Zurich Insurance’s leading segments, namely Motor Insurance, Traffic Insurance and Fire Insurance, demonstrated strong results for the year.
1. Comprehensive Insurance Segment The company achieved the 11th position in comprehensive insurance by producing 4 billion 496 million 980 thousand TL in premiums, corresponding to a 3.05% market share. Production in this branch rose by 48.14% year-over-year, while real growth was 13.18%.
2. Fire and Natural Disasters In the Fire and Natural Disasters branch, Zurich Insurance ranked 13th in the market. The company produced 3 billion 627 million 285 thousand TL in premiums and held a 2.18% market share. This area recorded a nominal rise of 46.54% and a real increase of 11.96%.
3. Traffic Insurance (Including Green Card) Zurich Insurance stood at 15th place in the traffic insurance category, contributing a large share to its overall production. The company generated 5 billion 559 million 365 thousand TL in premiums with a 2.12% market share. The annual increase in this segment reached 39.08% nominally and 6.26% in real terms.
Non-Life Total Evaluating the company’s total performance across non-life segments, Zurich Insurance maintained its 19th position and a market share of 1.79%, consistent with the overall results.
