Sibel Sağlam has been appointed as the new Director of the Turkish Insurance Institute Foundation (TSEV), marking a new era for the organization.
Sibel Sağlam has been named Director of the Turkish Insurance Institute Foundation (TSEV) following a decision by the TSEV Board of Directors. She officially took over her new role on January 19, 2026.
Sağlam earned her degree from Marmara University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio and Television, and obtained her master’s degree in 2021 from Maltepe University’s Institute of Social Sciences in the Marketing and Communication program.
Her career began in journalism, focusing on intelligence and economic reporting, before transitioning into the banking and finance industry in 1996, working for Sümerbank. Later, she took on various positions in the securities field at Sümer Yatırım, Deniz Yatırım, and Deniz Portföy Yönetimi.
From 2003 onward, she held the position of Group Manager responsible for Human Resources, Training and Corporate Communications, as well as Sales Support and Marketing at Ankara Emeklilik ve Hayat (AEGON Life and Pension). During the establishment phase of DoubleTree by Hilton Istanbul Moda Hotel, Sağlam served as Human Resources Manager. Subsequently, she worked at Vakıf Emeklilik as Bank Insurance, Special Projects and Corporate Communications Manager, and later at Asya Emeklilik on behalf of TMSF.
Since 2017, she has served as Deputy General Manager of Marketing and Sales at Halk Hayat ve Emeklilik AŞ. Between 2021 and 2025, she assumed the role of Deputy General Manager at Türk Katılım Reasürans AŞ.
In addition to her professional career, Sibel Sağlam lectures as a guest at various universities. She holds a Capital Markets Board Advanced Level (Level 3) License, a CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) certificate, and a PMI Project Management Program certificate.
