According to documents acquired by NPR, Meta has significantly ramped up its reliance on artificial intelligence in recent months. The product development teams are now required to fill out and submit an evaluation questionnaire directly to the AI system before any new features are rolled out to the public. This AI system is designed to pinpoint potential risk areas and provide immediate feedback, urging teams to make necessary adjustments before launching their products.
Despite these advancements, some current and former Meta employees have expressed concerns. They worry that AI might fail to detect crucial risks, particularly those affecting young users, or related to bullying and violent content.
