Insurance Sector Data for 2025 Published by TSB
The Turkish Insurance Association (TSB) released the cumulative figures of the insurance industry for the 12-month period of 2025. According to the published data, Mapfre Sigorta AŞ achieved real growth in overall premium generation by the end of the year.
Nearly 40 Percent Rise in Premium Generation
Between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025, the company’s total premium output rose by 39.58% in nominal terms compared to the same span of the prior year. Total production, which was TL 19 billion 127 million in 2024, reached TL 26 billion 699 million 762 thousand at the close of 2025. Based on the same report, the company’s inflation-adjusted real expansion rate stood at 6.64%.
14th Place in Non-Life Insurance Ranking
Mapfre Sigorta generated its full premium production from the Non-Life segment. At the end of 2025, the company placed 14th among sector players in this category, securing a 2.56% market share. Looking at the combined ranking of Life and Non-Life branches, Mapfre Sigorta held the 15th position with a total market share of 2.18%.
