ToggleThe Single Mothers Association, which works to empower single mothers and advocate for their rights, partnered with HDI Fibaemeklilik to design the plan as both a personal retirement option and a fringe benefit employers can offer. The initiative provides single mothers with a secure savings mechanism for their own futures and their children’s well-being. Additionally, institutions can adopt this program as part of their corporate social responsibility and employee care policies.
Uniquely, the plan includes no entry fees, no exit deductions, and no management expense deductions. Every contribution made is reflected fully in the participant’s savings.
The “Single Mothers BES Plan” offers flexible contribution options supported by state contribution benefits while fostering social solidarity. HDI Fibaemeklilik will also donate revenue generated through the project to the Single Mothers Association. The plan is open to single mothers and children of any age. Existing HDI Fibaemeklilik BES customers can participate by opening an additional contract. Participants also receive a digital Certificate of Appreciation issued by the Single Mothers Association.
The plan can be customized for companies wishing to offer enhanced support to single mothers within their workforce.
Erhan İleri, Deputy General Manager of HDI Fibaemeklilik, stated that the initiative was inspired by the Fiba Group’s #YükOlmasın (Let It Not Be a Burden) campaign, which focuses on increasing awareness of emotional and care-related labor often shouldered by women.
“Single mothers carry the responsibilities of both work and home life on their own, which increases their need for financial planning,” İleri emphasized. “With this special BES plan, we aim to help them look to the future with confidence. Our motto, ‘Strong Mothers, Secure Futures,’ reflects our belief that this program will contribute meaningfully to social equality.”
Serap Yelkenci, President of the Single Mothers Association, highlighted the broader social value of the plan:
“Single mothers are the strength behind their children’s futures. This project supports their financial security while also reinforcing a culture of solidarity. It is a significant awareness initiative that can be implemented both individually and as a workplace benefit. We will continue advocating for single mothers’ inclusion in corporate support and employee loyalty policies.”
