Ekin Kayıran Joins IBS Insurance and Reinsurance Brokerage as Deputy General Manager
Ekin Kayıran has been appointed as Deputy General Manager responsible for Financial and Administrative Affairs at IBS Insurance and Reinsurance Brokerage Inc. (UIB Turkey).
IBS Insurance and Reinsurance Brokerage, which continues to maintain its strong position in the insurance and reinsurance brokerage sector in Turkey, has further strengthened its financial leadership team with the appointment of Ekin Kayıran as CFO.
Ekin Kayıran completed his undergraduate studies in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Middle East Technical University and has more than 25 years of experience in financial management. He began his career in 2000 in the Tax Audit Department at Arthur Andersen and later worked for about nine years at EY (Ernst & Young), focusing on tax audit, financial consulting, and international tax planning. During this period, he contributed to merger and acquisition, privatization, and financial modeling projects serving both national and international companies across various sectors.
In 2009, Kayıran joined Engie (GDF Suez), one of the world’s leading energy groups, as CFO. Over the following years, he held senior financial management roles in the healthcare, infrastructure, automotive, and financial services industries. He managed finance, accounting, reporting, taxation, internal control, risk management, treasury, procurement, administrative affairs, legal, and corporate communications functions with an integrated approach.
Most recently, as Deputy General Manager for Financial Affairs and Executive Board Member at Howden Turkey, Kayıran demonstrated strong leadership in financial sustainability, corporate governance, and strategic growth. He also holds the title of Chartered Accountant (SMMM).
