Spotify, the leading online platform for music and podcasts, has unveiled a suite of exciting new features designed to significantly enhance the user experience. Known for its innovative updates, Spotify is now introducing revamped playback controls and a fresh interface design. Here’s a comprehensive look at what these features entail and how you can make the most of them.
Among the most anticipated updates for Premium users is the revamped and more user-friendly Play Queue section. This updated area now provides direct access to controls such as Shuffle, Smart Shuffle, Repeat, and Sleep Timer. Additionally, as your queued tracks conclude, a curated list of recommended songs will be readily available for your listening pleasure.
Some features, including Autoplay and Smart Shuffle, are being repositioned within Settings for easier access. A newly designed “more intuitive” Hide button allows you to effortlessly hide a song across all your devices. Moreover, the update introduces a “Snooze” option, enabling you to mute songs from your recommendations for a span of 30 days.
The options for Adding, Sorting, and Organising at the top of all playlists have been made more accessible than ever. A new “+” button located at the bottom right of the mobile app empowers users to create playlists, collaborate with friends, or join Blend lists with ease.
In select markets, Premium subscribers can enjoy the Jam feature, facilitating real-time music listening experiences with friends, as well as the AI Playlist tool, enhanced by artificial intelligence.
