President Trump’s Strong Words on Los Angeles Protests
In a recent post on his Truth Social platform, US President Donald Trump addressed the ongoing protests in Los Angeles. Referring to the demonstrators as “rioters”, he accused them of disrespecting National Guard officers by spitting in their faces.
Trump stated emphatically, “If they spit, we will shoot them. I promise you they will be hit harder than they have ever been hit before. Such disrespect will not be tolerated.” His comments reflect a zero-tolerance policy towards any perceived affront to the National Guard’s authority.
Highlighting the seriousness of the situation, Trump labeled the protests as “catastrophic riots” influenced by California’s Democratic leadership. Notably, he took a jab at California Governor Gavin Newsom by altering his last name to “Newscum.”
