Istanbul is preparing to host a significant global event that will mark 2026. The Silk Road Insurance Forum, arranged by Remed Global and STH, will gather international leaders of the insurance industry at the Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus on March 25. Under the theme “Building Bridges to the Future of Insurance”, the forum will focus on the future of the insurance sector, prospects within the developing Silk Road region, and collaborative steps for global advancement in smart insurance. The event will feature more than twenty countries and 130 international partner institutions, including senior representatives of insurance associations, commercial attachés, academics, and key decision-makers of the field.
The central session of the meeting will run under the title “TechBridge: Accessible and Smart Insurance with Technology.” Discussions will highlight modern technological dynamics such as Agentic AI, Generative Artificial Intelligence, and IoT, along with current innovations influencing the insurance landscape. During this TechBridge session, insurtech startups will present advanced technological solutions, outline main industry challenges, and share notable success cases from their ventures. The keynote address will be delivered by Sabine VanderLinden, CEO of Alchemy Crew Ventures, who is known for transforming artificial intelligence and advanced technologies into measurable business outcomes within the insurance industry. In her presentation, she will discuss global best practices and highlight how AI is reshaping insurance processes and accelerating digital transformation across the sector.
Following the conclusion of the forum, the “Silk Road Insurance Sector Report” will be launched. This report aims to strengthen the shared sector policies among participating nations, aligned with sustainable and regional development objectives, while fostering a global culture of digitalization.
