Iraq’s Firm Stance on Territorial Integrity
Sabah Numan, the military spokesperson for Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, emphasized in a written statement that Iraq will not permit the use of its territory, waters, or airspace for any acts of aggression against neighboring countries.
The Iraqi government has urged the United States to uphold its obligations as outlined in the bilateral agreements between the two nations. Iraq specifically called on the U.S. to implement necessary measures to prevent Israeli aircraft from infringing upon Iraqi airspace in the future.
