ToggleHDI Insurance Board Chairman Dr. Wilm Langenbach reaffirmed the Group’s commitment to the Turkish market, noting that Turkey stands among the most important strategic regions within the Talanx network. He emphasized, “As one of Germany’s top three insurance groups, Talanx operates across more than 175 countries, and Turkey remains central to our international growth plan.”
According to Langenbach, Turkey accounts for about 10% of HDI’s European business volume and will continue to play a pivotal role in the region’s expansion. He highlighted the country’s young population and dynamic market as key drivers for sustainable investment and future potential.
Firuzan İşcan, reflecting on the outcomes of the meeting, celebrated HDI Insurance’s 30th anniversary and its nearly two decades under the Talanx umbrella. She stated, “This meeting was an essential opportunity to align our local strategies with the group’s long-term goals. Turkey remains one of the critical growth markets for Talanx, and we continue to build on our resilient performance.”
Emphasizing stable growth, İşcan added that HDI Insurance’s third-quarter results for 2025 demonstrate strong technical expertise, a customer-oriented business model, and a commitment to achieving sustainable profitability.
İşcan described digital transformation as a cornerstone of the company’s service philosophy. She explained that technology is designed not merely to automate operations but to enrich every phase of the customer experience. “We are using artificial intelligence, process automation, and data analytics to identify customer needs faster and respond more effectively,” she said. She affirmed that the customer remains at the center of all strategic decisions, and continuous improvement drives the entire operational framework.
As part of the event, HDI’s management visited the company’s headquarters to assess ongoing digital initiatives, particularly focusing on AI-driven claims management systems. Dr. Langenbach toured the information technology and damage assessment units, examining projects involving remote expertise via image processing, AI-supported fraud detection, and mobile reporting solutions. These advancements are significantly reducing processing times while enhancing overall customer satisfaction.
The leadership team also collaborated with Fiba Insurance and HDI Fibaemeklilik to explore synergies and new partnership models that can further strengthen HDI’s growth strategy within Turkey’s rapidly evolving insurance landscape.
