Bringing together professionals from across the world, HDI Sigorta recently welcomed the much-anticipated Power Pricing Lab 2025 in Istanbul. The event, a hallmark of the Talanx Group, takes place each year in a different country, offering a collaborative platform to advance knowledge in data analytics, artificial intelligence, and product management. This year’s edition gathered around 55 participants from Germany, Poland, Brazil, Italy, and Turkey for three days of insightful sessions and innovation-driven discussions.
Throughout the program, industry leaders exchanged views on emerging developments in the insurance and technology sectors, taking part in technical presentations, case analyses, and interactive workshops. The sessions aimed to build a stronger understanding of cross-market strategies while fostering international collaboration among Talanx Group teams.

In her opening remarks, Firuzan İşcan, General Manager of HDI Sigorta, emphasized that the Power Pricing Lab represents more than just a corporate event—it reflects a commitment to knowledge sharing and innovation. She noted, “This initiative strengthens Talanx Group’s culture of cooperation and continuous development, connecting experts around a unified vision. Hosting such a significant platform in Istanbul allows us to expand our global expertise while contributing directly to the advancement of the Turkish insurance landscape.”
İşcan further highlighted that by hosting the event, HDI Sigorta aligns Turkey more closely with Talanx’s international strategy, enhancing the local sector’s access to modern analytical and pricing methodologies.

Ayşe Can Okyay, Deputy General Manager for Auto Technical and Actuarial Pricing at HDI Sigorta, underscored the immense growth potential within the Turkish insurance market. She noted that with an insurance penetration rate of just 2.3%, Turkey offers a significant opportunity for development. Okyay added, “Our country’s young, digital-savvy, and energetic population creates fertile ground for new and inclusive insurance solutions. Through data-driven insights and customer-focused innovation, we believe this potential will soon translate into substantial growth.”
