AXA Turkey highlights global influence during Insurance Week as CEO

AXA Turkey marked Insurance Week with a remarkable gathering that brought together employees and top executives from the global organization. The event took place at the AXA Head Office in Istanbul, where AXA Global CEO Thomas Buberl and members of the International Markets Executive Committee met with the Turkish team to discuss ongoing achievements and future opportunities.

During his address, Thomas Buberl emphasized AXA Turkey’s increasing significance within the global network, summarizing its strengths in three essential areas: technological innovation, investment in people, and strategic opportunities in Turkey. He described the company’s recent progress as highly impressive and stated that the momentum achieved under the leadership of CEO Yavuz Ölken serves as an inspiration across the Group.

Innovation and Technology Driving Growth

Buberl noted that AXA Turkey has achieved substantial development through customer- and agent-centric solutions enhanced with empathy assurance, big data applications, and artificial intelligence. He highlighted that the company’s technological infrastructure stands as a benchmark for other markets and praised its bold approach for taking calculated risks and testing new digital solutions rather than maintaining the status quo.

Investing in People and the Future

According to Buberl, building long-term success requires more than financial results. He explained that preparing younger generations with new skills and contributing to their professional development form a cornerstone of AXA’s 2030 vision. Referring to the AXA Competence Academy (AYA), he remarked that this initiative reflects the organization’s strong commitment to fostering talent and future leaders, aligning with the broader vision of sustainable and inclusive growth.

Turkey’s Potential and Commitment to Continued Investment

In his concluding remarks, Thomas Buberl emphasized the strategic importance of the Turkish market within AXA’s global structure, saying, “There are massive opportunities in Turkey, and we will continue to invest in these opportunities.” This statement reinforced AXA’s long-term dedication to contributing to Turkey’s economy, insurance landscape, and social well-being.
