AMD has officially acknowledged the RX 9060 series at a recent exclusive event, indicating a release timeframe in the second quarter of 2025. Insights from the Chiphell forums suggest that the graphics card will be ready for the market before May 20, just before Computex 2025.

The Radeon RX 9060 XT’s features are becoming clearer. It will be powered by the Navi 44 GPU, distinct from the Navi 48 in the RX 9070, equipped with 2048 stream processors—a significant reduction compared to the Navi 48. However, improvements in clock speeds are noteworthy. The base clock speed is reported to start at 2.62 GHz, with a boost frequency peaking at 3.23 GHz, offering a 700 MHz advantage over the RX 9070. In terms of memory, the graphics card will have two GDDR6 options, 8GB and 16GB, both featuring a 128-bit memory bus and speeds of 20 Gbps.
