Celebrating three decades of dedication and service in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Anadolu Insurance recently hosted an inspiring evening event, bringing together dignitaries, business leaders, and members of the diplomatic community. The celebration not only reflected on the company’s remarkable journey but also conveyed its future aspirations in line with its century-long legacy in Turkey.
Founded under the guidance and signature of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Anadolu Insurance—now approaching its 100th anniversary—has played a pivotal role in shaping the insurance industry both in Turkey and Northern Cyprus. Since establishing its first branch on the island in 1995, the company has grown into a trusted insurance partner with an expanding network of 31 agencies and 44 bank branches.

ToggleDuring the commemorative event, Füsun Tümsavaş, Chair of the Board of Directors, emphasized that the company’s presence in Cyprus was founded not merely as a regulatory step but as a bridge of solidarity and reliability between the two nations. Over 30 years, this bridge has turned into a strong chain of values, encouraging both economic collaboration and social unity across the island.
“Our 30th anniversary here holds special meaning as it coincides with our centennial in Turkey,” said Tümsavaş. “It reflects our unwavering commitment to grow together with the communities we serve and to continue being a symbol of trust, sustainability, and resilience.”
Z. Mehmet Tuğtan, General Manager of Anadolu Insurance, spoke about how operations in Cyprus have contributed significantly to the local insurance landscape. “Our journey here represents more than just business expansion,” he noted. “It stands for shared growth, and through our digital transformation and customer-centric initiatives, we are determined to shape the next era of insurance.”
