Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik has embarked on an impactful project by collaborating with the TEMA Foundation, demonstrating its dedication to both nature and the future. With a significant initiative in the Eskişehir Emircik Afforestation Area, the company has established the Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik Memorial Forest by planting a considerable number of saplings—10,000, to be exact.
Aligning with its sustainability strategy, Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik consistently contributes to ecological balance through its engagement in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) projects. Particularly noteworthy is the company’s effort to plant saplings in honor of its customers, affirming its sustainability ethos with the Memorial Forest venture.
Deputy General Manager Didem Makaskesen expressed insightful perspectives on this initiative: “The prevalence of recent forest fires has reinforced the critical need for safeguarding and rejuvenating our green spaces. At Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik, this sense of responsibility is deeply rooted in our corporate ethos, as we actively support sustainability initiatives. Each sapling signifies a tangible step towards our vision of a greener tomorrow. Our collaboration with the TEMA Foundation is not only a fulfillment of our environmental duties but also reflects our social commitment. By planting 10,000 saplings in Eskişehir, we have made a meaningful and enduring contribution to nature and our clientele.”
Furthermore, Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik’s partnership with the TEMA Foundation extends to providing environmental education for school students, aimed at fostering ecological consciousness. Over the past four years, approximately 55,000 middle and high school students have engaged in these vital nature education programs, cultivating a deeper understanding and awareness of sustainability and environmental stewardship.
