AMD’s Upcoming Radeon RX 9060 XT Graphics Card: Launch Date and Specifications

Anticipation Builds for AMD‘s RDNA 4 Architecture Launch The tech world eagerly awaits the unveiling of AMD’s latest innovation in graphics technology—the Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card, based on the cutting-edge RDNA 4 architecture. Recent updates have clarified the official introduction date of this highly anticipated model. Mark your calendars for May 21, as AMD plans to officially announce the Radeon RX 9060 XT during its Computex 2025 press conference. Despite this announcement, consumers might need to exercise patience, as the card is expected to reach retailers only by June. AMD RX 9060 XT: What to Expect Alongside the RX 9060 XT, AMD is also gearing up to introduce the RX 9070 GRE model. While there were previous speculations suggesting a May 18 launch for the RX 9060 XT, this date appears improbable given it falls on a Sunday. Instead, AMD’s comprehensive presentation set for May 21 will likely serve as the launch platform. Enthusiasts should note that the term “launch” primarily refers to the product announcement, with actual sales anticipated to commence in June. Preliminary leaks regarding the RX 9060 XT’s specifications reveal that the card will be powered by the Navi 44 GPU. Additionally, it will be available in two memory configurations: 8GB and 16GB GDDR6 variants. However, the production of the 8GB model might be limited, possibly resulting in a short-lived market presence or a delayed launch.
