AMD Achieves Record Revenue in 2025
AMD announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year of 2025, marking the highest revenue performance in the company’s history. Robust demand for data center products, AI accelerators, and advanced processor solutions played a crucial role in this success.
Record Year for AMD
In the final quarter of 2025, AMD achieved revenue of $10.3 billion. The company reported a 54% gross margin, $1.8 billion in operating income, and $1.5 billion in net income, with earnings per share at $0.92. On a non-GAAP basis, the gross margin increased to 57%, operating income reached $2.9 billion, net income totaled $2.5 billion, and earnings per share rose to $1.53.
For the full year, AMD’s revenue totaled $34.6 billion. The annual gross margin stood at 50%, with $3.7 billion in operating income and $4.3 billion in net income. On a non-GAAP basis, operating income reached $7.8 billion, while net income and earnings per share were $6.8 billion and $4.17, respectively.
The data center segment generated $5.4 billion in revenue during the last quarter, reflecting a 39% year-over-year growth. This increase was fueled by rising demand for EPYC server chips and accelerating shipments of Instinct GPUs. Annual data center revenue climbed 32%, reaching $16.6 billion.
In the client and gaming category, quarterly revenue hit $3.9 billion, representing a 37% increase over the previous quarter. The client business improved to $3.1 billion due to higher Ryzen processor sales and expanding market share. Gaming revenue, on the other hand, climbed 50% to $843 million, driven by semi-custom chip sales and growing interest in Radeon GPUs. The combined annual revenue from client and gaming rose 51% to $14.6 billion.
AMD CEO Lisa Su described 2025 as a pivotal year for the company, underlining that EPYC and Ryzen processors, along with its data center AI portfolio, are expected to maintain strong momentum heading into 2026.
