Xiaomi Expands Its Product Lineup
Xiaomi continues to work on broadening its portfolio. The Chinese manufacturer has been developing the Redmi Turbo 5 series for a while, and recent information discloses both the launch date and significant technical specifications.

Launch Details of Redmi Turbo 5 Series
Xiaomi officially announced that the Redmi Turbo 5 series will be introduced on January 29. The lineup will include two versions: Redmi Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Max. This statement aligns with previously leaked reports.
Redmi Turbo 5 Max Technical Highlights
The flagship model of the series, Redmi Turbo 5 Max, will be powered by a Dimensity 9500s processor. According to the AnTuTu benchmark records, the handset achieved a total of 3,298,445 points. The processor section gained 952,789 points, while the GPU test reached 1,130,421 points. For memory performance, it scored 502,375 points, and the user experience (UX) test returned 712,860 points.
The chipset includes a Cortex X925 core running at 3.73 GHz, three Cortex X4 cores at 3.30 GHz, and four Cortex A720 cores working at 2 GHz. On the graphics front, it features an Immortalis G925 GPU with ray tracing support.
Battery Capacity and Design Details
The Turbo 5 Max is equipped with a 9,000 mAh battery. Thanks to HyperOS-level power optimization, its daily usage duration reportedly surpasses several devices with 10,000 mAh capacity. Redmi also shared official design renders of the Turbo 5 series: the Turbo 5 will be offered in white, whereas the Turbo 5 Max will feature an orange finish.
The Turbo 5 will come with a 6.59-inch display and a Dimensity 8500 processor, making it a more compact option. In contrast, the Turbo 5 Max will have a 6.83-inch screen. Both smartphones include a 9,000 mAh battery and support 100W fast charging.
