Insurtech leader UnderwriteMe, a subsidiary of Pacific Life Re, has announced the appointment of Andrew Doran as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Doran, who brings over two decades of rich experience in the insurance and reinsurance sectors, transitions to UnderwriteMe from Pacific Life Re, where he held the position of Global Chief Underwriting Officer. During his tenure at Pacific Life Re, Doran was instrumental in harnessing UnderwriteMe’s advanced technology to cultivate market-leading underwriting and claims solutions tailored for clients.
Andrew Doran steps into the CEO role at UnderwriteMe following the departure of James Tait, who has decided to explore new professional avenues. Reflecting on his new responsibilities, Doran stated, “I am eager to collaborate with the skilled team at UnderwriteMe to perpetuate our legacy of innovation and excellence. Our goal is to enhance our offerings for insurers and independent financial advisers on a global scale, while solidifying our leadership in underwriting and claims automation and AI-driven solutions.”
