Steps to Craft Shorts from Existing YouTube Videos
1. Choose Your Video: Begin by navigating to the watch page of the long-form video you wish to transform.
2. Utilize the Remix Option: Click on “Remix – Edit into a Short”. This will guide you through the process of crafting your Shorts.
3. Trim and Customize: Select up to 60 seconds from your video. Enhance this clip’s appeal by incorporating text, filters, or other creative elements.
If your chosen segment is less than 60 seconds, you can use the YouTube Shorts camera to fill the remaining time. For instance, if you have a 45-second clip, you can add a new 15-second recording with the Shorts camera.
Understanding the Limitations
