Recently, CD Media Turkey indicated that announcements would follow once all formalities were finalized.
With the official announcement now made, the Switch 2 price in Turkey has been confirmed. Additionally, a Mario Kart World package is also available, currently listed with an appealing 11% discount. It’s well-known that many tech products in our region can command steep prices due to VAT, SCT, and customs duties.
Following the worldwide pricing revealed during the Nintendo Direct on April 2, 2025, many speculated about the local price tag. Today, the official announcement dispels previous uncertainties. According to the Gizala store listing, Switch 2 will be priced at 36,999 TL in our country. For those interested in the special package that includes the Mario Kart World game, it is listed at an original price of 44,999 TL but can be purchased for 39,999 TL after an 11% discount. A further price reduction to 38,799.03 TL is available for wire transfer payments.
The product comes with a guarantee from the official distributor, CD Media. During the Nintendo Direct presentation, numerous social and technical features of the Switch 2 were unveiled. These include the innovative use of the Joy-Con controller as a mouse, backward compatibility support, and GameShare capabilities. A slew of upcoming games was also announced, including new titles like The Duskbloods by FromSoftware, Donkey Kong Bananza, alongside already released titles such as Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring, Hades 2, Hitman World Assassination Signature Edition, Hogwarts Legacy, Hollow Knight: Silksong, Split Fiction, Street Fighter 6, and Tony Hawk’s ProSkater 3+4. Notably, Borderlands 4 is slated for release on September 12, 2025, making it another exciting addition to the roster.
