Rhonda Hasell Appointed to Lead Hannover Re Bermuda

Rhonda Hasell has been named as the new General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of Hannover Re Bermuda. With a career spanning over 20 years across New Zealand, Australia, and the UK, Hasell brings a wealth of experience to her new role. Over the past decade, she has honed her expertise in the London market.

Her background is diverse, characterized by strong technical prowess as a Chartered Accountant and a proven leadership track record, particularly in driving change and transformation. Prior to joining Hannover Re, Hasell served as Group CFO at Munich Re Specialty, Global Markets, a position she held for more than four years.

Before her tenure at Munich Re, Hasell spent four years at Lancashire Insurance Group, where she advanced from Head of FP&A for Lancashire Syndicates to Head of Finance for the same division. Earlier in her career, she gained invaluable experience at Rhonda Atwood Consulting, First Assist (now known as Cigna Insurance Services), and GE Capital.
