Ariel Re Appoints Rohan Pai as New Chief Financial Officer

Appointment of Rohan Pai as Ariel Re’s CFO

Global reinsurer Ariel Re has announced the appointment of Rohan Pai as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective April 1st, 2025. Based in Bermuda, Pai will be responsible for overseeing Ariel Re’s financial reporting and treasury functions, playing a pivotal role in supporting the company’s growth aspirations and commitment to becoming the Premier Manager of Reinsurance Risk.

Pai brings with him nearly 25 years of extensive industry experience. He joins Ariel Re from Velocity Risk, where he held the position of Chief Financial Officer for the past two years, where he was instrumental in driving the company’s strategic financial initiatives.

Prior to his role at Velocity Risk, Pai served as Senior Vice President, Treasurer, and Investor Relations at Selective Insurance. He also held the position of Director of Corporate Finance at RenaissanceRe. His career in finance began as an equity research analyst with Deutsche Bank and Bank of America.
