Florian Happ takes the helm as Cyber Team Lead at Munich Re US, bringing expertise and innovation to strengthen their cyber strategy.
Global reinsurer Munich Re has announced the appointment of Florian Happ as the new Cyber Team Lead for Munich Re US. Happ’s career at Munich Re spans 16 years, starting in 2009, during which he has held a variety of underwriting positions. His extensive experience includes Underwriting Casualty Treaty Reinsurance for both US and Lloyd’s clients.
Between 2018 and 2022, Happ distinguished himself in the role of Executive Assistant to the Board Member for Global Clients / North America. Most recently, he led efforts as Head of Data Management and Actuarial Products at Munich Re Digital Solutions.
According to Munich Re, “The appointment of Florian exemplifies our ongoing investment in the expanding cyber market and underscores our lasting commitment to this vital sector.”
