The Insurance Agents and Brokers Congress in Azerbaijan served as a dynamic platform for exploring how insurance distribution channels can be further developed and effectively regulated. Among the key participants was Ahmet Yaşar, Vice President of the Turkish Insurance Association (TSB), who contributed via video message with a detailed presentation titled “Turkey’s Experience in Regulating the Activities of Insurance Agents and Brokers.” During his address, Yaşar discussed the historical background and ongoing evolution of agency and brokerage activities in Turkey, illustrating how regulatory frameworks have been designed to enhance the overall efficiency of the market. His presentation, supported by statistical insights, highlighted the importance of building robust cooperation models between insurers and intermediaries.
