Outstanding Players: Tyrese Haliburton and Myles Turner shone for the Pacers with 26 and 21 points respectively. For the Bucks, despite Gary Trent’s impressive 33 points and Giannis Antetokounmpo’s stellar performance of 30 points, 20 rebounds, and 13 assists, it wasn’t enough to turn the tide in their favor.
The Indiana Pacers are now poised to face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
In other noteworthy games of the day, the 6th-seeded Detroit Pistons claimed a 106-103 road victory over the 3rd-seeded New York Knicks in Game 5 of their first-round series. However, the Knicks still lead the series 3-2.
Over in the Western Conference, the Denver Nuggets, holding the 4th seed, defeated the 5th-seed Los Angeles Clippers with a 131-115 victory in Game 5, taking a 3-2 series lead.
