In his debut NBA playoffs appearance, Alperen Sengun delivered an impressive performance, scoring 26 points in the Houston Rockets’ 95-85 defeat to the Golden State Warriors.

The Rockets, ranked second in the Western Conference, hosted the seventh-seeded Warriors in the opening game of their first-round playoff series.

National basketball star Alperen Sengun, who saw nearly 36 minutes of playtime for the Rockets, led his team with 26 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist, and 3 steals. Despite his efforts, the Rockets were unable to secure the win. Teammates Dillon Brooks and Jabari Smith Jr both contributed 11 points each.

The Warriors’ victory was spearheaded by Stephen Curry, who scored 31 points and grabbed 6 rebounds, while Jimmy Butler added 25 points and 7 rebounds, giving the Warriors a 1-0 lead in the series.

In his playoff debut against the Golden State Warriors, Alperen Sengun made history by scoring 29 points, 9 rebounds, and 1 assist. He set a new NBA record as the center with the highest points scored in his first playoff game in the 2000s.

THUNDER STUN WITH 51-POINT VICTORY

The Oklahoma City Thunder, leaders of the Western Conference, dominated the eighth-seeded Memphis Grizzlies with a staggering 51-point win, finishing 131-80 to take a 1-0 lead in their playoff series.

Aaron Wiggins led the Thunder with 21 points, followed by Jalen Williams with 20, Chet Holmgren with 19, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with 15 points.

Despite efforts from the Grizzlies’ Ja Morant and Marvin Bagley, who both scored 17 points, the team could not avoid a heavy defeat.
