Joe Fobert Appointed as Head of U.S. Retail Casualty at Everest Insurance

New Leadership Appointment at Everest Group Ltd.

Everest Group Ltd. has announced the appointment of Joe Fobert as the head of U.S. retail casualty and industry practices for its insurance division, Everest Insurance. This strategic move aims to strengthen their position in the insurance and reinsurance markets.

Fobert will report directly to Bill Hazelton, who serves as the executive vice president of Everest Insurance and the president of North America insurance. With headquarters in New York, Mr. Fobert joined Everest in January, stepping into the role of senior vice president of reinsurance casualty strategy.

Prior to his tenure at Everest, Fobert had an impactful career at Chubb Ltd., where he served as head of major accounts excess casualty and chaired the global casualty product board. His extensive experience also includes pivotal positions in casualty and risk management at American International Group Inc. and Crum & Forster.
