Everest Insurance Appoints Joe Fobert as Head of U.S. Retail Casualty and Industry Practices

Joe Fobert Joins Everest Insurance

Global insurance and reinsurance powerhouse, Everest, has unveiled the appointment of Joe Fobert as the new Head of U.S. Retail Casualty and Industry Practices for Everest Insurance. In this pivotal role, Fobert will be reporting directly to William Hazelton, the Executive Vice President of Everest Insurance and President of North America Insurance.

Fobert arrives with an impressive 30-plus years of commercial underwriting expertise. His most recent position was at Chubb, where he dedicated 11 years, culminating in his role as Head of Major Accounts Excess Casualty and Chairman of the Global Casualty Product Board.

Before his tenure at Chubb, Fobert spent 13 years with AIG, where he was instrumental in managing primary casualty lines for AIG Risk Management and spearheading casualty operations for Florida Risk Specialists, the wholesale distribution arm of Lexington. His career also includes valuable experiences at Crum & Forster and Selective Insurance.
