Doğukan Karakaya Appointed at ANA Sigorta

Doğukan Karakaya, with approximately 23 years of insurance sector experience, was appointed Deputy General Manager for Technical and Reinsurance at ANA Sigorta, effective 3 August 2026. He will officially assume the role after SEDDK approval.

Karakaya graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Financial Sciences, Department of Insurance, and completed postgraduate studies in Marketing Management in the MBA Programme at Yeditepe University.

He started his career in 2003 at Garanti Bank and later held senior roles at Marsh Insurance and Reinsurance Brokerage, Sompo Insurance, Türkiye Insurance and Türkiye Life and Pension, HDI Insurance, Türkiye Participation Insurance, and Türkiye Participation Life.

His areas of expertise include technical underwriting, reinsurance, pricing, product management, and sales and marketing. ANA Sigorta stated that it is pleased to welcome Karakaya to its senior management team.
