- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 large egg
- 240 g milk

- 1 liter vegetable oil
- 16 wooden skewers
- 2 packs of your favorite sausages
Instructions for Perfect Corn Dogs
- Step 1: In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the cornmeal, all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, sugar, and baking powder. Once combined, incorporate the egg and milk into the dry ingredients, mixing until you achieve a smooth batter.
- Step 2: Heat the vegetable oil in a deep saucepan over medium-high heat. While the oil is heating, carefully insert a wooden skewer into each sausage, ensuring they are securely held.
- Step 3: Dip each sausage into the prepared batter, coating it evenly. Shake off any excess batter gently, then carefully place the coated sausages into the hot oil.
- Step 4: Fry the corn dogs until they are a deep golden brown, approximately 3-5 minutes. Remove them from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
